WE ARE A REALISED CHANCE IN AN INFINITE OCEAN OF CHANCES

Our haughtiness, someone would say curiosity, has made us come up with numbers to calculate the age of the Universe we inhabit. But really… These figures are useless when it comes to dating Infinity.

Let us face we simply don´t know. We are just guessing. Your guess is as good as mine. Moreover, no human was there to see it! How could they?

As in the story, we are blind folks touching different parts of the same elephant.

Nonetheless in this Universe we know, life got a chance and it took root in it. We are not alone.

Some unorthodox astrophysicists have suggested that outer space is full of microscopic life which rains down on “our” planet all the time (see Wainwright et al., 2010).

Thus ... We all are ETs (see Joseph, 2009).

I quite agree.

So it happened what happened. Life gave life and this life engaged in making more life in a long chain of chances full of life.

Life is a chance. An incredible chance!

We are a realised chance in an infinite ocean of chances.

And now we are playing with chances with one another! (Video 1).

And life goes on…

Life is a miracle. We are surrounded by miracles!

Salve!
